The first in our celebrate the season series, this workshop is focused on spring activities.
As the sun and showers spark the woodland into life, with buds on the trees and flowers emerging amongst last year's dead leaves, this is a wonderful time to get out in the woods and explore. Sessions start with a story, that reminds children of the need to care for their environment, and then it is time to get out amongst the trees to have some fun, including spotting spring colours, bug hunting, searching for nests and listening to bird song, creating some spring art or planting sunflowers. Then back to the woodland classroom to sit around the story circle, to share their experiences in the woods.
