About this project
THE GARDEN CONNECTIONS PROJECT HAS NOW ENDED, BUT WE CONTINUE TO GARDEN WITH THE CHILDREN AND ARE ALWAYS EAGER TO FIND INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS TO EITHER GARDEN WITH THE CHILDREN OR HELP TO MAINTAIN OUR POLYTUNNEL PLANTING, WW2 GARDEN, POND, WOODLAND AND OTHER AREAS. NO SKILLS NECESSARY, IT IS ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN!
Appledore Primary School has received £6,300 from the Devon Education Fund for a multi -generational gardening and gardening heritage project. The project is designed to build connections between school, nature and community, through child-led research, inter-generational skills exchange, production of new learning materials and a wide range of gardening activities.
